On April 12, 2022, members of six Inland Empire Chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. collaborated together to host Delta Days with the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. The chapters that participated included San Bernardino Area Alumnae Chapter, High Desert Alumnae Chapter, Inland Valley Alumnae Chapter, Murrieta-Temecula Area Alumnae Chapter, Pomona Valley Alumnae Chapter, and Upsilon Gamma Chapter. Over 30 members attended the Board meeting in the morning. The attendees enjoyed sisterhood time and caucused over a delicious lunch catered by Dhat Creole Grill in Riverside. After lunch, the group divided up and held individual meetings with the County Supervisors from each of the five districts. 

Our priorities for discussion included addressing the following: 

• Homelessness and its impact on people of color; 

• Racism as a public health crisis and supporting the efforts of the Equity Element Group 

• Eliminating human trafficking to diminish the impact on our youth 

• Strengthening advocacy and resources for voter education, registration, and mobilization especially for underserved populations
